After completing her student teaching at the Liberty Public School District, she pursued her field experience and prepared for her career as an educator at numerous schools ranging from grades 4 - 12 and college students. Currently, Karla plays 4th chair viola with the St. Joesph Symphony and in the past has also performed for KC Civic Orchsestra. She is also the Viola player with Crescendo Trio. For beginning students, children and adults, I start out with my own material that I have created over the past five years. I use it to start technique, note reading, and rhythm. Once the student completes the material, I move them to Suzuki books, etudes, and other pieces. I like to get student input when choosing music. I'm a young violin instructor who is passionate about teaching music to students of all ages. I graduated from Park University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Violin Performance, and I am currently working on my master's degree. I enjoy performing, and I often perform throughout the Kansas City area, as well as various opportunities around the world.
