Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce etudes, scales, vibrato and eventually shifting; and of course solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. During my senior year at university, I had the opportunity to serve as a faculty member for my university's pre-college music program.
