During college, I took on some new students and continued to gain experience in a variety of instruments as I took classes and taught not only cello, but also piano and violin. Within months of my college graduation, I became involved with a mission school in the Dominican Republic, where I taught music theory, history, chorale, and private lessons -- all in the Spanish language. I'm currently a graduate assistant at UGA. I am principal violist of the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra and violist of the Hodgson String Trio. I am also an orchestral instructor for the UGA String Project. I have performed in several orchestras in the southeast United States including the Bryan Symphony, Owensboro Philarmonic, Augusta Symphony, Oak Ridge Symphony, and Albany Symphony Orchestras. I'm born in Bulgaria, and in 2011 moved to the United States to pursue my higher education. I completed a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Viola Performance, at the University of Georgia.
