A few years later I also began studying the violin. At a young age I fell in love with music and its ability to express emotion and connect people. This is what I hope to pass on to my students. I started playing the violin at the age of 8 and now I have been playing it for 30 years. I started working with children when I turned 19 and to this day I have never stopped. I studied and worked at the same time, as well as playing in an orchestra, and I developed a strong work ethic. I have also worked with members of notable string quartets such as the Penderecki Quartet, the Juilliard Quartet, the Beo Quartet, the Shanghai Quartet, the Borromeo Quartet, and the Fry Street Quartet. I graduated from UNC-SA through both their highschool and collegiate programs.
