My teaching experience dates back to my school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time ,from 2003,and have been consistently teaching students in my home and at students homes, for the last 10 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for the younger students, as it tends to help the student progress. Thanks to my studying of violin teaching methodology,I found that, there’s no ideal formula of teaching violin to everyone, the same way ,as ,there’s no ideal magor or minor scale, for practicing only that technique to achieve the best result, as people have defferent cultural and musical backgrounds, so student should enjoy the lesson and have fun while learning . I have been teaching for 5 years to a wide range of ages. I take an individualistic approach to teaching, tailoring my lessons to my students. I teach violin for all levels and beginner/intermediate piano. I encourage all my students to learn how to read music and have a basic understanding of theory. I try to customize my teaching style based on what I observe each student needs. Some are visual learnings, in which case I do lots of demonstrating on my own violin. Other students respond very well to imagery, and listening to their own imagination/instincts. Some students need more systemic discipline, others require more freedom and nurturing. In addition to this, I pride myself on teaching all students, how to best play popular music, using a full range of chords, not typically taught.
