I teach the with Suzuki method. The Suzuki Method focuses on the Mother Tongue Method and was created by Dr. Sinichi Suzuki. He, and I, believe that every child is able to play music beautifully. The method emphasizes listening and parental involvement. I look to find the balance between challenge and enjoyment for each student. I am just 20 years old, and while I am still a growing musician and teacher myself, I have had experience in teaching lessons for the past three years. I started teaching private lessons on acoustic guitar a couple years ago, and I have also taught classes of vocal, violin and piano students. Currently I am teaching piano and violin classes at the Salvation Army in Memphis. I have found a joy in helping students develop a love for music, as it was my first piano teacher at the age of eight who played a part in developing my love and passion for music. Read More
