I am a newly graduated musician who is eager and motivated to pass on my knowledge and experience to others! My experience with music has extended back 17 years, beginning at the age of six. For the first twelve years, I was mentored under the tutelage of Janet Houston. I also have a combined 14 years of orchestral performance experience, beginning with the Dearborn Youth Symphony which lasted ten years. My teaching experience started in Music Collage,where teaching of school age students was part of curriculum .After graduation from Kiev Conservatory I taught individual violin and viola lessons at Kiev Music School #10 for Gifted Children. Shortly after immigrating to the United States I joined the teaching staff of the Notre Dame School of Music,where I served as a violin teacher for 5 years. When in 2005 the school was closed,I decided to continue teaching and created my private studio, where I have been teaching students of all ages and levels to play violin,viola and piano. Read More

I excel at taking the most self-motivated students to the highest level, and I don't hold anyone back in order to stay with a pre-determined method. All students learn to count the beat in a FUN and entertaining way. I save the last few minutes of every lesson for "musical games", which are usually ear training.
