Back when I was in Venezuela, I was playing in my city's orchestra the entire time from 2002 to 2018. In that orchestra, which is a part of the renowned "El Sistema". For adults, I would still use Essential Elements because it does help with reading music, basic violin technique, bow hold, etc. Suzuki is a must because Suzuki is the best! I learned all of the books, and Suzuki's learning methods helps so much! As time progresses, solo repertoire will be introduced and the student will begin learning from Wohlfahrt etude book.
