I graduated from Belmont University in 2019 with a bachelor of fine arts in violin performance. I have been honored to play at many venues around the world including venues in the Czech Republic, Florida, New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Denver. I have taught Violin for eight years and it is one of the most rewarding aspects of my violin world. I then transition to Suzuki repertoire. I also include music individual to each student based on their interests. My methods are flexible and designed to draw out the strengths of each student. Open-minded and flexible, Nerea strives for her students to learn through fun, hands on activities, always leaving her lessons with smiles on their faces. Beginner students are always taught the basics of posture, positioning and how to move the bow on the strings. They then go on to learn bowing and the strings names, followed by finger position and musical pieces.
