I began my love of music in highschool, being in the marching band for 4 years playing several different instruments (percussion, trumpet, trombone, tuba). Singing became my choice of career in college, and while in college, I was able to perform major roles in operas such as Porgy and Bess in which I played the role of Serena at the age of 19, making me the youngest person to have ever performed that huge role. I help them find recitals and places that I can teach them songs to learn and the students have a chance to perform live places with me for holiday musicals and some of my concerts places locally as well. I believe everyone is equal and I treat everyone so. No one gets any special treatment I help all my students teach their full voice. By facilitating a safe and low-pressure learning environment during a lesson, the student is free to explore their own abilities, experiment through trial and error, and fully flourish on their singing journey. He has received praise for his “delectable top notes” (DC Metro Theatre Arts) and a voice described as “powerful . . . conjuring up an extraordinarily delicate sweetness” (Communities Digital News). He received his Bachelor of Music from The Juilliard School and Master of Music with the University of Maryland-Opera Studio.
