I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who enjoys and has years of experience teaching lessons. I graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition. I have performed all over the world primarily as a vocalist, but also as a guitarist, bassist, and pianist. My teaching has enabled me to work with young musicians of all ages and skill types. The approach I take is technique driven, while at the same time, expressive, musically sensitive, and fun! Voice students will learn English and foreign language diction, ear training and sight-singing, proper posture, stage presence, confidence, and healthy vocal production suitable for all styles of singing. I help them set realistic goals and acknowledge their accomplishments along the way, making them more eager to practice and learn.  I love seeing that spark when an idea clicks and the student finally understands a concept or achieves a goal. My approach to teaching is solely based on vocal placement and having a great time. I encourage my students to mimic their favorite artists and or artist that they are not familiar with. This enables the students to loosen the tension in the voice and to get out of their comfort zones.
