I am a musician who wants to share and instill the love and passion of music. I have experience working with members of bands such as Halestorm, the Gene Simmons band, Alice Cooper, Beasto Blanco, Sponge, and more, as well as Broadway stars such as Sutton Foster and Laura Bell Bundy. During the first lesson I have the student sing (if it is a vocal lesson) their favorite song so I can hear them. After that i use my keyboard and take the student through some excersizes to really home in on that range. I listen for qualities and we discuss the positives and what improvements are needed. I began teaching youth choirs right after graduating High School. With excellent instruction, I began a more studied teaching approach through my pedigogy class at Central Michigan University. Also, I helped my fellow classmates prepare for their performances. I am beginning to teach privately after continuing my vocal study with a Vocal Coach in the Detroit area. Music making and teaching has been my passion since I was young. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education. As a child, I participated in choir for 8 years and was in the University of Michigan's University Choir and Orpheus Singers. My professional experience includes singing with a Chorale that performed with the Cleveland Symphony and performances as a soloist with choirs in Ohio and Michigan. I founded and was the director of the Academie des Beaux-Arts, a performing arts school and the Actors Alliance Theatre, a professional theater company that gave young people a chance to perform with professional actors.
