Hello, I'm Mackenzie B.. I'm currently a student at the University of Kansas for a Bachelors in Music Education. I am student teaching currently, which is my last step before receiving my degree. I currently work with Kerry Marsh for the KU Jazz Singers and enjoy singing both classical and jazz music. I also have two or three ukuleles and enjoy jamming with an acoustic guitar. I like to incorporate rhythmic exercises and other fun activities to get them to enjoy what they are learning. For adults, I try to find out how much the student knows about music and see what their interests are. If a student wants to work on composing, that will be the focus. If the student wants to work on sight-reading, we'll focus on that.
