One year after graduating from KD Conservatory, I moved to the Philippines and started my own original band called Alchemy Band. We performed several times a week at local venues. Most of the band members were full-time college students and due to the overwhelming workload, some of the members could no longer keep up with performance demand. I was simultaneously performing with a well-known girl-group called SILK Party Band and eventually became a full-time member performing "Top 40" hits from the 70's to current, 6-7 times a week all over the Philippines. I work from a whole-body mindfulness perspective on voice. We use our whole body to create and emit sound, not just our lungs and throat. When we work from a whole-body perspective, we are more grounded, we are better able to identify pitch and stay on pitch, our breath flows better, and the act of singing becomes enjoyable and easy. I have been featured in solo concert appearances in Boston Symphony Hall, San Francisco's Alcazar and Cable Car Theatres, New York's Alice Tully Hall and Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall.   In 2007, I was Quarter-Finalist on season 2 of NBC's America's Got Talent.  I returned for season 3 where I was advanced to the Semi-Finals appearing before an audience of 12 million viewers each week.
