In 2009 ,after graduation from Miami Dade college I formed many cover bands playing classical rock to top 40 hits from weddings to backyard s n festivals .I’ve toured the country back n forth .seeing and playing at most available venues in South Florida area I became acquainted with Miami’s music scene and began working in promotion and festival organizing.Thats when I decided to take it to the next level making 1000$ per concert and understanding what it takes to survive and thrive in music working with distributors vendors promoters and venue owners to coloborate On the current studio rehersal space and recording plus’s lessons for young adults.I play drums guitar keyboards vocals ,and bass guitar. My teach experiences started back in my undergraduate career. I began teaching private voice lessons part time to students at certain ages in my home studio for 3 and half years. One of my key points is a consistent schedule for students to practice so they can progress and gain the love for singing like I did. Therefore, it is important that each student learns at his or her own pace. There is no need to over-exhaust them with tasks but I do encourage individual growth and development by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. The number 1 key to a great lesson is to ensure the student is comfortable within the lesson and that they are having fun. For Vocal lessons in young beginner students, I typically walk through a few fun silly warm-ups, and breath exercises to get their voice moving free, then allow the student to sing "happy birthday" or another short song to determine pitch range. I follow-up with the "movable Do" concept ("fixed Do" for more advanced), to recognizable songs to teach pitch recognition, diction, and vowel sound in preparation for solo repertiore. Read More
