Bass School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Music in Opera Vocal Performance. I have studied voice, music theory, piano and vocal pedagogy extensively. My practice is an evidenced-based one. I chose exercises that are specifically tailored to a certain vocal idea or skill that we are working on. From there, we modify the exercise to meet the needs of the student's unique body and other student specific needs (i.e. previous habits, personality type, etc.). I am a calm, laid-back, yet intense teacher who expects the best from myself and my students. In almost every aspect of my life, I take an approach developed from my experiences with bodybuilding. As a competitive bodybuilder in college, I learned that progress requires desire, discipline, patience, self-evaluation, and the willingness to change directions and tweak one's regimen.
