I've been teaching music for more than 12 years now. I can honestly say that I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of music. Not everyone can say that they truly enjoy their job so I feel blessed. I have taught hundreds of students ranging from ages 4 to 80! I have taught individuals, groups or online lessons. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance (and a minor in dance) from Millikin University (Decatur, IL) and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL) where I focused on vocal pedagogy. During both my undergrad and graduate studies, I was active in the college choirs and opera productions. Past experiences include singing with the UTB/TSC Master chorale, with which he performed at the Texas Music Educators Association.
