I work with my students at the level and pace that they are comfortably happy. We all come to music and music lessons for different reasons. My work is to honor that space and demonstrate that making music is an option for anyone who wants it, regardless of any perceived “barriers” in place. I enjoy finding out how my teaching methods can fit with one's personality and watching people grow throughout the years. I have kept students consistently for 2 years and each student is different and unique. Music has taken me to see places of the world I would have never been, music has given me some of the coolest jobs in my life. Playing organ for the San Jose Sharks NHL team was a dream come true, and I am still the youngest person to have held that job in the NHL. They still use all of my recordings. Empowering people with music is my greatest passion. From the time I was a small child, I knew that following this passion would be my life's path. I began studying piano at age 7 and voice at 13. I have had the great honor of performing as a soloist around the world including touring as soprano soloist with Ballet San Jose throughout China, Sarasota Opera, American Opera Projects in New York City, Opera San Jose, Virginia Opera Education Outreach, and touring with Opera Aegean throughout Greece. My experience as a teacher with younger students comes from my background in music education and choral conducting. I began teaching privately about a year ago.
