I am passionate about working with people of all ages, and helping them grow as musicians and develop a lifelong love of music.  After I graduated college in 2004, I went on to teach music in Wisconsin, Hawaii, and now Washington. I have taught voice lessons to a wide range of students of different ages and abilities, and have also taught beginning piano lessons. Through music I have performed across the United States in places such as the Kennedy Center.  I have also toured Europe twice as part of different choral ensembles, and sung in the most amazing cathedrals and castles. My voice lessons are tailored solely to the abilities and interests of the student. If they prefer classical repertoire, we work through various art songs in Italian, German, French and English, focusing on technique and diction. If they prefer musical theatre, we have fun with the acting side of it, while learning good technique. I will even do some pop songs, if the student so desires, but these songs are generally much simpler. Read More

I have studied piano privately for almost 10 years. My first experience teaching piano was in high-school, when I taught after school lessons. Since then I've had the opportunity to absorb the teaching methods of many excellent instructors. My teaching approach continues to be influenced by these teachers. As a 9th grader, I participated in The Bronx Borough Wide Band and played clarinet on the stage of Carnegie Hall. Later, in college, I sang in a classical chorus on the stage of Kleinhan's in Buffalo, NY with The Buffalo Philharmonic. I studiedbassoon withFrank Ruggieri of The New York Philharmonic as well. In rock, I sang with many bands and some famous artists.
