I began teaching when I was 17 after I made friends who were younger through the mariachi summer camp. I taught music theory and the overall style of how to learn and build chords based on key signatures. I've been playing bass guitar and double bass, professionally for over 35 years in various bands, groups, orchestras and with international stars such as Ray Charles and Andrea Bocelli.
