UPDATE: The last of my teaching guitar lessons ended in 2013, due to the schedule of a new full-time job, which then only lasted 5.5 months. I signed up to become a teacher with Musika back in June of 2014 (which was when I found this website). But although I received notices for more than a thousand different potential students since then, never a single student was located anywhere even remotely close to me (i.e they were all at least 1.5 to 2 hours drive away from me). I have found the last few years very rewarding as students become musicians. Since my first student I taught in 2004, through the days I taught at a music school, up right on to the present moment, I love passing the music onward as it was passed to me. Being a multi generational musician, it's important to me to teach this great artform and pass it down through generations. I also like to let my students know that "music lasts a lifetime." Because, if my students practice the material five days a week, for a minimum of 30 minutes, their skills as well as confidence will grow. Read More

I encourage people to do their best as well as go at their own pace. I set goals, If they exceed those goals in a week or 2 months, It doesn't matter, as long as they are trying their best. I make up games for the little ones, such as, having them to do online games involving music. For older students I try to still involve fun activities such as teaching them their favorite songs. I teach students to transfer my extensive knowledge of music to anybody that is willing to learn. I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old. Later on in life, I started playing bass, banjo, ukulele and mandolin. I play in several different orchestras and bands. My orchestra playing involves a local theater company, as well as various high schools. I also perform regularly for Musicians on Call, a not-for-profit organization that brings the power of music to patients' bedsides in the Philadelphia area. Read More

Hello! I teaching for over 10 years, 6 of them with my current studio. I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old and I've been taking lessons my entire life. (Yes, even still with professional musicians) I firmly believe that you never stop learning. There's always going to to be someone out there who has information or a perspective that can help you see things differently. I started out playing classic rock, blues, bluegrass, folk, metal - just about every style of music. Read More

I started teaching guitar by making videos early 2021 and then I started teaching classes on takelessons.com. I have been teaching classes and students ever since then. I created a guitar course with takelessons.com and you can see it on takelessons live. I also made a practice guitar course onthinkific.com on guitar chords and guitar chord theory. I enjoy helping students learn how to play guitar or bass guitar. Read More
