Around this time I took a correspondence course in Arranging from the then Berklee School of Music, which did eventually also become my alma mater and I even began teaching for my teacher. I tend to use Hal Leonard's Essential Elements as well as other series' depending on the student's level and musical interest. I have extensive knowledge of music theory and will make sure to cover chords, scales, and music notation while building familiarity with the instrument.
