I attribute development of my teaching method to having started as young as I did; it is my firm belief that students and teachers should learn together, and that, especially with younger students, that it should be fun, engaging, and even a little bit silly at times. Currently, I am studying at the University of Colorado Boulder with Professor David Requiro to receive my Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance. In addition to my educational experience, I have also attended several summer music institutes including the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Innsbrook Institute, Online Summer Strings Intensive, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival. My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. I ask them to bring any materials they have and will often recommend books and supplemental material I have had success with.
