I am a passionate and motivated teaching artist who enjoys working with children and adults. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music at Loyola University New Orleans in the fall of 2017. Performing chamber music, playing in Orchestra, and special events for weddings and corporate events have been an exciting part of my life as a musician. At the bare minimum, there are four skills that one must become adept in in order to play cello. 1) Proper body movement and coordination 2) Left hand technique (the hand which determines the notes on the instrument) 3) Right hand technique (the hand which manipulates the bow and produces sound) 4) A basic grasp of music theory Every student of mine will be trained in the classical sense, and learn some classical repertoire, because classical technique on the cello is the foundation for any other style the student would like to perform. Better understanding how things works on cello, will help to achieve desirable result. Through working process begin to introduce appropriate repertoire needed for daily improvement.
