I started taking cello lessons over the summer before 6th grade, and played in the ensemble at my middle school and high school, continuing lessons throughout. I have also participated in solo and ensemble events through the schools. I have never taught before, as it is only now something I have to start doing, but I am excited to begin teaching others. I'm a professional and motivated instructor who just graduated from UT Austin and would love to share music with whoever wants to learn. It has been 16 years for playing cello and orchestra whether in school and outside of school, and also for teaching experience. For a creative activity, I encourage my students to relax and have fun while learning about the nuances of the music playing to comprehend the relationship between the theory and the performance. I believe that music learning is just like the alphabet, learning each letter by the time. My personal goal is to teach my students how to be performers and play beautiful music on the concert stage. A concert can be as little as one piece in a family dinner or a gig in a teacher while learning that we can captivate an audience and drive their emotions with our music. Read More
