Nothing is more rewarding than seeing that musical spark ingnited in a student. Every student has different interests and different learning styles. My teaching experience dates back to my college days. I received my first teaching certificate in 1991 and worked in a Professional Music school for many years. Throughout my professional career, I always had students who would come to my performances and have the privilege of learning and sitting next to me on a professional stage. I've found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the cello and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

I use the Suzuki method for strings. I was classically trained in this method. I find that this method is an excellent way for beginners to gain basic technique and learn at their own pace. It is also great for intermediate students as the transition into this method does not take long once I have evaluated the student's skill level. The most important part of what I teach is to HAVE FUN! Read More
