For Flute students I use the Trevor Wye Beginners Book for the Flute. Clarinet I use the Rubank Method books. Every child has their own way of learning. Some are visual, others aural, verbal or kinesthetic. As a teacher I will adapt my lessons to each child needs. The basic structure of the lesson is review/present the new concept, apply it and at the end of the lesson discuss the new given homework for the following lesson. I will go to the student pace.
