William joined Musika in 2009. William is a retired college professor who taught woodwinds at the college level for over 25 years. He is an accomplished recitalist on both clarinet and saxophone. He earned the Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from the University of Akron and the Ph.D. in musicology from Kent State University. I've been in the teaching field for the past couple years through small groups and ensembles, as well as one on one private lessons. I've helped both band and choir directors with their ensembles and selected students, mostly marching band camps and OMEA Solo and Ensemble participants.
