In my teaching I make sure that my students never feel overwhelmed or confused by the material.  I give them reasonable assignments based on their skill level and make sure to give them reasons for everything they are doing.  I always try to help my students achieve little accomplishments in every lesson. I'm a graduate of the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley CA (B.M., 16) where my teachers included Benny Green, Peter Horvath and Art Lande.
