My teaching experience dates back to my teenager days, as I began to play in my high school marching band to began to understand rudiments and reading. So coming from church everything I played I could break it down into rudiments. I started teaching private lessons to the kids at my church and other churches, and its been about 9 years or so. I began working at local band camps over the summer during my senior year and I found the experience to be cathartic and extremely rewarding. At the beginning of my college career, I started working with several band programs as an instructor and private lesson teacher. I have been actively teaching students of all ages since 2007. My teaching experience began in 2011. A friend of mine had bought a guitar and did not know a single thing about the instrument. he asked me if I could teach him how to play. After a few weeks of methods that I taught him and, exercises he was able to play the guitar without frustration.
