For a long time I did not want to teach. I thought that those who can't do, teach- as the saying goes. As a father of a young boy few things give me more joy than to see my son learn about music, and Drums/Percussion in particular. As a musician I taught many musicians music theory; from diatonic scales/circle of fifths to pitch clusters and counterpoint. 2004-2007 marched world championships in WGI with Black Knights and Pulse Percussion 2006 Marched the Rose Parade as a tenor drummer. 2015 - Awarded a plaque from Los Angeles City Counsel for teaching Madison Middle School, becoming State Champs. 2016-2018 Taught Madison Middle School drumline and got them to be 4-peat State Champs.
