I have been teaching music for over 18 years, primarily guitar. I have taught music for retail, private learning and performing arts centers. I have taught electric and acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, music theory, sight reading, scales and modes, and improvisation. Books I use for teaching Piano is the Piano Adventures series of books by Nancy and Randall Faber, which is a great lesson book and a good basic piano method for beginners through intermediate level students. For guitar I use the Hal Leonard Incredible Chord Finder and the Warren Nunes Jazz guitar Rhythm and Background Chords and the Solo Patterns book.
