I have been studying drums for well over 17 years! I love playing, learning, and teaching drums. It's all I ever think about. I began studying Jazz drumming throughout high school, and have performed, toured, and recorded with many bands since. I have become locally acclaimed with my affiliation for local Utah music festivals such as Desert Rocks Music Festival, Powellpalooza, Uncle Uncanny's Summer Sessions, and Psych Lake City. For drumset the above texts also work but the best solution is the Rhythm Concept by Kelly Wallis, a fantastic method of deconstructing rhythm. There are many traditional style texts along with a host of audioplay along style texts that I am comfortable teaching from.
