I have been a musician for approximately 20 years I love teaching others what I have learned. I started my career as a musician in 1993 with a group call the drums of thunder in Paterson New Jersey. That was known as a blue ribbon school of perform arts. I carry with me the passion and inspiration. And I feel that it is my duty to pass on that passion and inspiration to all of my students. I am a very versatile and easy going instructor who loves working with music enthusiasts of all age and ranges; I believe you are never too young or old to start learning an instrument. I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and an Entrepreneurship minor. I play 6/7 instruments proficiently and am teaching myself another 5/6, and I know how to speak Hindi, English, and Gujarati, and am teaching myself basic Spanish. Read More

With all beginning students, I typically start with very minimal basics. Proper stretches, warm-up techniques (reudiments to help strengthen their dynamics), correct posture and the over all comfort of beginning. Due to my experience working with multiple grade/age levels, I have learned to carefully fine tune my teaching strategy for each individual student that I work with. At the beginner level I typically work from method books to ensure a solid development of performance fundamentals. I also like to spend a good bit of time establishing successful warm-up and practice routines. With intermediate level students I continue with more challenging method books as well as standard musical excerpts and etudes. Read More
