I have had experience teaching at both the public school and university level, as well as through private lessons. I primarily teach piano, drum set, and percussion lessons through both in-home and online formats since 2019. Through my experience teaching these past four years, I have had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages (from 5 to 65 years old) and experience levels. As far as music, I have them play out of the Essential Elements book for trumpet which has basic melodies in it which will allow them to focus on fingerings, articulations, and tone quality. In the lessons I make sure to model the proper trumpet sound so the student has a good reference to go off of. For my beginning drum set students I like to focus on their form and overall technique.
