I am a man who loves life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In 2009 I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors of arts in music. During my education I worked with Florida States school of theater and dance. After graduation I landed a job with Holland America Cruise Line being a musician on there number one ship in 2011. After we have established the basics on the kit we start to work on rudiments, reading, grip (we will come back to grip a lot,) dynamics, and fills. I always try to provide purpose behind elements in a lesson, an explanation as to WHY we are working on something and HOW it will be used. With more advanced students we will assess where they are, where they want to be and build a plan to achieve that goal. Read More
