I have been passionate about music and teaching from a very young age. I began playing the flute at age 10 and eagerly continued, participating in every musical opportunity I had in middle school, high school, and college. In 2010, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Susquehanna University with my Bachelors in Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in flute. It is a joy to watch my students find enjoyment in music! I understand that each student progresses at their own rate, so I make it a point to always discuss with my students what their goals and hopes with lessons are. This allows me to tailor my lessons to each student's wants and needs, which in turn helps motivate them to practice and grow in their musicianship. I was an educator in the Seneca Falls Central Schools for 38 years where I first became an instrumental music teacher. I taught woodwind lessons grades 5-12 and conducted elementary and middle school bands. I coached high school woodwind groups and was assistant marching band director, as well as woodwind adjudicator for the NY State School Music Association.
