My teaching experience began in college as I began to help teach some of my peers that were interested in taking up saxophone as a hobby. I realized immediately that I had a passion for connecting people to their passion for music and wanted to continue doing that. I eventually began to teach outside of school in the homes of interested students in the Washington, D.C. area. I recently just graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. My main instrument is flute and I have been playing for over the past 14 years. I have had to opportunity to participate in eight Pennsylvania Association for Music Education Band and Orchestra Festivals. In addition, I taught privately in three locations, including a Music Arts Center, instructing beginning through advanced students, both children and adults.
