I soon began leading masterclasses for the flute students of the local middle and high schools. Most recently, I taught a masterclass to a large group (30-40) of high school flute students. I incorporate these by creating my own exercises for students according to their needs, and then applying these concepts to etudes and solo repertoire. While my main goal is to help improve the student's flute and musicianship skills, I also aim to nurture a life-long love of music.
