As a drummer, I keep a smooth shuffle currently for 3 different rhythm blues bands who perform around New Orleans' Frenchmen Street and other top venues. I've also clocked studio sessions on bass, keys, violin, and viola. Viola and Violin came into my life as an adult and committed myself for 5+ to conquering the difficult fundamentals of these rewarding instruments. I have taught dozens students from over 20 countries about songwriting, guitar playing, singing, lyric writing, piano, ukulele and more. Since 2011 I have played in over 1000 stages, starting in my hometown of Corrientes, Argentina, at first playing on the streets for tips and later moving onto bars, later theaters, and now touring full time. Teaching has always been something I have gravitated towards, specially after several requests from my listeners. For beginners, I show them basic chords (Major, Minor and Diminished) if they're a guitarist and if they're a bassist, I teach them octaves and basic waking lines. Once they progress, I show them common scales and chord progressions used in modern music and focus on developing technique. If they're intermediate to advanced, I ask them what they feel they need work on and we focus on that. I started teaching guitar and bass in 2001. I started teaching ukulele in 2013. Over the years, I have taught professionally at schools, park districts and music stores- in most cases becoming the top teacher (meaning, I was the most requested and had the best enrollment longevity).
