We will work together to get it where it needs to be! I use real drum loops and other media for this. This dramatically increases the students feel for the pulse of the music. As the store specialized in Bluegrass music, I was hired to teach students the pop and rock songs being played at that time. I taught there for three years before relocating to North East Ohio. When children realize that they can play "Happy Birthday" or "Jingle Bells" after just a couple of lessons, their interest level increases. And once they have improved to the point where have the ability to learn songs they will be taught the songs they will love to play.
