Experienced in teaching, performing, composition and recording, I offer tailor-made lessons to the students' individual wants or needs. Each lesson will be accompanied by written examples of the material gone over in our lessons, in notation or tablature, depending on the students' request. I have been passionately teaching guitar lessons to people of all ages and experience levels since 2000. I also taught youth and teen band classes and clinics at Plugged In Band Program in Needham, MA from 2005 to 2018, prior to moving to Los Angeles in January 2019. My methods are specific to a student's goals. For beginners, I usually like to use Hal Leonard's Guitar Method series to get them reading music and playing guitar in the first (or open) position. Beginners need to learn fundamental music theory, such as the major scale and how to build chords. Intermediate students that already understand basic theory usually desire to learn the techniques and vocabulary specific to a certain genre. Read More

I've been a passionate musician all my life. Ever since my Nana bought me a mini electric piano when I was 3 ears old, it's been a staple of my life ever since. I studied guitar and piano all through out grade school and high school and continued my music education into college. I studied production, jazz, and theory at JJC of Illinois before transferring to DePaul University.
