I first started teaching kids privately about 4 years ago in their home and I started off with just basic stuff like note reading and pop music but as time passed by I came up with a teaching method that I am pretty confident in. I also worked at a tutoring center teaching guitar and piano to the kids focusing on more rock styles of playing. I had the opportunity to experience a wide range of styles as a soloist and as a member of many bands and ensembles: Classical, American Folk, mariachi, boleros, tangos--playing in many venues and contrasting scenarios around the U.S.A and foreing countries such as Mxico and Argentina. I'm a pianist, I've been playing playing the piano since I was 10 years old, currently 25 years old. A major highlight in my musical education was attending the high school for performing and visual arts in Houston Texas where I studied under Mr. Morales who shares my last name. I've performed with various chamber groups but I have spent my time mostly doing solo work. I have spent my entire life working the arts.  In high school I was a member of choir, band, theatre and jazz band. During my Air Force Years I attended the University of Maryland with my primary focus on musical theatre. Traveling the world and working with multiple theatre organizations has been an expirence that few can say they have done. I started drum lessons at 12 years old and studied jazz and swing drumming early on. I was a percussion major in college then spent a few years in Austin Texas traveling with country, rock and blues bands. Have played on over 20 records. My lessons are one on one and we both play side by side each at a drum set learning and having fun. My home studio is comfortable and provides a great atmosphere for music. Read More
