I am now a Texas Retired Elementary School Teacher. I taught elementary for 27 years. During this time I have taught piano part time at a music store studio and currently at my own home studio. I started playing drums and percussion 12 years ago, both classically, and privately trained. I was taught all play styles, and approaches to percussive arts. In high school, I was apart of a drum line and in 2015, I started drumming in a Rockabilly group in southern Illinois. I like to work with new students to build a foundation for trumpet playing and developing a solid tone and embouchure.
