From there I began to teach privately during my undergrad from 2008 and through my master's degree until present day. Currently I teach mainly through the Oklahoma Conservatory of Music. My teaching experience started 5 years ago. I was a senior in high school and was teaching a beginning student the trombone. Throughout the past 5 years I have continued to teach students when I was able to. I encourage regular practice and maintaining a consistent schedule. I always say 10 minutes a day is better then 30 minutes every 3 days. For younger students a combination or aural learning and written learning are great ways to help them engage and keep an interest. Read More

After graduating from the University of Tulsa, I began teaching at Brook Fine Arts Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I taught over 30 students a week in both voice and piano (ages 3 to 20) for over a year.
