It wasn't until I was 12 years old that I really started to play and learn guitar, being further motivated by my brother who was just learning guitar himself. We started out learning songs by Metallica and Led Zeppelin. Once the students has a basic grasp of the fundamentals, we will learn songs appropriate for their level. After graduating from California State University, I became involved with conducting and established my own youth symphony orchestra, working with teens who were eighteen years and younger. I organized weekly rehearsals, prepared the orchestra repertoire, and arranged performances.
