I have enjoyed performing in many venues from coffee shops to churches to big music halls; functions from weddings and funerals to special dinners; and just for fun with family and friends. For adults, I would continue using these books but at a higher level with supplemental material on the side, which may include solo repertoire appropriate for them and Hanon's Virtuoso Pianist exercises (a few, not all). For voice students, I try to find out what it is they are interested in singing; I am comfortable with all genres but it should be noted that I am classically trained and can work more easily and comfortably for those wanting to sing classical music, musical theater, and church related music.  A student must enjoy what they are working on in order to progress. I graduated college in the Spring of 2020 and then proceeded to get a temporary teaching job as a orchestra director in Pike Township for the first half of the year. This was followed by an elementary teaching position in the same township. I then took a step back to focus on my playing. I am now teaching private lessons and part time saxophone a Pendleton Heights Middle School. Still in search of a full time teaching position but this is something I have always wanted to pursue.
