I have been teaching private lessons at Northside Christian School for almost 2 full years at this point, and have been helping out during marching band season every year since 2017. For every one of my beginning students who wants to start playing the guitar or singing, I will alway start them off the best and most knowlegable way I know how, which would be a beginners guide. I am partial to Samuel Applebaum's methods: For young beginners, I like tto begin with the String Builder series; then, to improve upon understanding of key signatures, move on to Scales for Strings. Similarly, I'm also a fan of Suzuki, although I am not entirely limited to those two.
