I've been in the teaching field for the past couple years through small groups and ensembles, as well as one on one private lessons. I've helped both band and choir directors with their ensembles and selected students, mostly marching band camps and OMEA Solo and Ensemble participants. I am a professional guitar player and instructor living in Pickerington Ohio. I have retired from road work and now plan to dedicate all of my time to teaching. As for my experience, I have been playing guitar for 15 years, teaching for 5 years, and active in bands for 7 years. I was privileged to receive private guitar lessons myself for a decade. Also, I have a solid amount of experience with audio recording, mixing, and microphone techniques for amplifying instruments. As far as teaching credentials go, I have not earned any official documents from any institution. However, I am attending The Ohio State University with plans to graduate at the end of this year with a minor in music. Read More

 I have been teaching in the Columbus area for 14 years.  I have studied piano and voice for 30 years performing and had experience auditioning for and performing in musical theater, opera, and contemporary settings. After earning my degree from otterbein, I have maintained a studio of 25-30 students in the westerville/New Albany area.  I currently reside with my husband and three children, three dogs, and a cat in New Albany where we run one location of my studios.
