At the begining of a lesson I encourage to start by listening and running through the scales and pieces that we last worked on. Make sure they are all well learnt. Before moving on to more scales and next pieces in the selected order at the beginning of class. For all of my students, I use the Bel canto (beautiful singing) method.Bel Canto is a traditional method rooted in classical singing. I have found this method to work for all students of all levels of skill because it teaches a seamless blend of the vocal registers no matter the genre.
